So this whole "New Year Resolution" thing seems to be a decent idea.
Mom wants to finally quit smoking, said shes cutting down now so that when Jan 1st rolls around she'll be ahead of the game.
I decided to go along with that, and makes a few resolutions of my own. [A "few" might be an understatement. I made a long list and I plan on completing each and every one of them.]
The list goes... [so far]
- Excersize 3 times a day [morning, noon, evening] for 20+ minutes
- Drink 1-2 Cups of milk at every meal [milk makes me sick, but I'm hoping I'll kick that or have the money to buy the Vitamin D pills at Walgreens]
- 1-2 Sodas a week, or none; Plenty of protien and switch to whole wheat pasta [or try]
- Play out back w/ dogs for 10 minutes between each class; Walk at least 3x a week
- Spend 15 minutes per day reading health&fitness articles or books
- Clean one room every day, or spend at least 20 minutes cleaning around the house
- Get to sleep by 10:00PM, Wake Up by 8:00AM [includes weekends]
The plan is to add one of these into my schedule per week starting now. This will give me time to get used to each one and by Jan 1st I'll have my resolution complete, or almost. If I complete it by then I'll probably just make a new list.
I'm also looking into healthy and organic recipes to try once Manny moves out. It took me this long to get mom to want to quit smoking, so now the next step is getting her to improve her "daily health".
So far, shes' agreed to quit smoking, use ecofriendly grocery bags, and I also had her caring about the elections haha. Next I'm going to look into ways to get her to drink less soda and eat healthier meals. She likes those Cliff energy bar things, and I read in a fitness magazine that eating the mini bars of those is healthier and more effective than the whole. I think I'm going to find her yoga videos too and see if she'll get back into that if I agree to do it with her now and then. A good friend of mine explained to me a few perks in it. Strengthens your body and immune system, as well as working as a spiritual cleanser.
I think people should feel bad for my mom because she gave birth to me ahahaha. Most kids could care less about what their mom is eating or if shes' double bagging the milk at the grocery store. She brought me into this world, so I'ma keep her here as long as my health and fitness research will allow it. Its out of love, I swear. :P

So I got bored.
& When I get bored, things kind of go wrong. Or weird, depending on your perspective.
First, I started taking pictures of everything in my house. [Puppies, wall ornaments, laundry, etc etc] Then I thought, why not send these pictures to Shay? So guess what I did.
I sent a bunch of pointless pictures to my friend's email. Ahahaha.
After that, I made a little video slide show of my pictures. It was pretty neat. Much easier to use than PowerPoint. Had music and all. :D
That got kind of boring fast. So I baked a cake. It was kind of huge cuz its still in the kitchen as we speak. =/ Its Devil's Food cake or whatever, with milk chocolate icing, and I didn't screw it up. It actually turned out amazing. Except for the fact that no ones around to eat it. =[
Thats all. <3
